Letter sizes — tops and many dresses

Dresses

Use bust first, then check the length note on the product page. Stretch jersey often takes the smaller letter size; woven sundresses may need the larger. Between bust measurements with no stretch: size up.

Pants, shorts, and leggings

Stretch yoga or wide-leg pants often take the smaller size; woven trousers may need the larger.

Size the jacket to the top you will wear underneath. If you want room for a sweater, size up.

How to measure

Point	How
Bust	Fullest part, tape parallel to the floor
Waist	Natural waist, usually the narrowest point
Hips	Fullest part of the seat
